OldTown White Coffee Express (PIA-INT)

Oldtown coffee is my mother's and my favorite coffee. The people in Penang are very friendly and the coffee is rich in milk flavor. If I can, I would like to drink a cup of Oldtown coffee every day to start a beautiful day. Good coffee, good service, everyone is very friendly! Nice day！

The curry mee, nasi lemak, teh tarik, and iced coffee are all enjoyable. This is a good spot for a quick bite before catching a flight. The staff are kind and polite, making the experience pleasant.

The coffee was rich and smooth, just what I needed to kickstart my day. The toast was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with a generous spread of kaya that added a delightful sweetness. Every bite and sip felt like a warm hug, comforting and satisfying. The service was quick and efficient, ensuring that I didn’t have to wait long, which is crucial when you’re on a tight schedule. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed. Their cheerful demeanor added to the overall pleasant experience. You need to order by queuing up even if you’ll eat inside and not take away, but then they give you a number and bring you the food to the table. The restaurant is a decent place to eat, food and drinks (nasi lemak chicken redang& white coffee ) were delicious. The food came rather quickly and looked appetising as well :) p.s. they have even knives! Which isn’t common in many Malay restaurants but makes eating chicken much easier. :)

Old Town White Coffee was one of our favourite local Kopitiam chain 20-years ago. But poor management doomed its quality and they seem to have been reborn with new cleaner image in the past few years. Food quality is average at best but at the Penang Domestic terminal, most probably the best you get, the other being Starbucks. Otherwise, a great place to have a cuppa before boarding your flight if you don’t have lounge access.
